Meet Adam!

The Summit County Prosecutor’s Office Facility dog!

Adam helps victims, particularly children, feel at ease in our office and the courtroom. The criminal justice system can be confusing and stressful. Adam’s calming presence and unconditional love help victims overcome their fears and anxiety.

Adam is a highly trained assistance dog who knows approximately 40 commands. He spent two years training with Canine Companions for this position, and he was carefully matched with our office based on his easygoing temperament and ability to sit quietly for long periods of time. Adam was provided and trained by Canine Companions at no cost to us.

Adam Profile

Adam has replaced Avery this past year, but the program remains the same. The video below outlines the duties of a facility dog, whether it be Avery or Adam. Please consider subscribing to our YouTube channel while you are there.
