The Holiday Season Marks Return of FREE or Reduced Fare Rides in Summit County
Summit County Prosecutor Kolkovich announced today the return of his successful Arrive Alive program for the Christmas and New Year's holiday to help keep drunk or impaired drivers off the road. “Arrive Alive” offers free rides home to give people a safe option and prevents them from drinking alcohol and getting behind the wheel.
The Summit County Prosecutor’s Office is again teaming up with Summit County Sheriff Kandy Fatheree to use the ride-share service LYFT to provide "free and reduced fare rides" home in Summit County for anyone who has had too much to drink while celebrating the holidays..
